There were four Hawaiian students enrolled in Amherst County Public Schools District in the 2023-24 school year, 33.3% more than the previous year, according to the Virginia Department of Education.

Data showed that Amherst County Public Schools District welcomed 3,965 students during the 2023-24 school year. Among them, Hawaiian students comprised 0.1% of the student body to be the least represented ethnicity in the school.
