Brookville High School had the highest enrollment among Campbell County schools, welcoming 1,015 students during the 2023-24 school year, according to the Virginia Department of Education.

Of all the students welcomed at the time, 51.3% of them were male, and 48.7% were female.

Data also showed that most of the students were white, representing 67.1% of Brookville High School's total enrollment.

Among the 13 schools in Campbell County, Rustburg High School ranked second in enrollment numbers with 851 students, while Tomahawk Elementary School welcomed 679 students to be ranked third in the 2023-24 school year.

Brookville High School is part of Campbell County Public Schools District, which roughly covers schools within Campbell County, with its main office in Lynchburg.

In the previous school year, Brookville High School also had the highest number of students among Campbell County schools.

According to Public School Review, Virginia public schools saw an average student-to-teacher ratio of approximately 1:14 in the 2023-24 school year, which is better than the national average of 1:15 in public schools.
