2nd annual Nurses Run for Education 5k

33

We are excited to announce our 2nd annual Nurses Run for Education 5k event that will be held virtually. Nurses week is May 6th-12th 2022, so this means you, your family, friends or race team can run or walk anywhere you feel most comfortable or challenging. Participants can run or walk at their own pace and without judgement (this is the best part about it being virtual!). The purpose of this annual event is to support our nursing students and our nursing program, while promoting a sense of community and compassion in our local region. Know a nurse? LOVE a nurse? Then support this cause!

Proceeds of this event will support our AAS (RN) Nursing Program and nursing students at Virginia Western Community College in Roanoke Virginia.

If you are interested in sponsoring or donating this event, please reach out to the race director directly (Darla Summers MSN RN) at dsummers@virginiawestern.edu.

If you feel passionate to donate to this cause, the direct link to do so is https://www.virginiawestern.edu/giving/give-now/. Under Making a Difference, scroll to "other" and type in "Nursing Program Fund." Your generous donation again will support our future nurses and nursing program.

THANK YOU to our 2022 sponsors this year! Your contributions will help support innovative and needed educational items and platforms
