Town of Altavista issued the following announcement on Jan. 31
The Main Street Coordinator performs work coordinating Altavista’s Main Street program; manages and coordinates programs and activities to promote and support downtown development and economic revitalization efforts; attends meetings of boards and committees and compiles and prepares agenda packets; plans events; prepares and administers the Altavista On Track budget; researches and applies for grants to promote the Town, fund events, conduct studies, etc.; maintains grant records; monitors grant funding; prepares required reports, oversees the Spark Innovation Center and its programming, and related work as apparent or assigned.
