Congresman Bob Good shares messages of congratulations and gratitude

Congressman Bob Good, who represents Virginia’s 5th district in the U.S. Congress, shared a series of tweets expressing his congratulations and gratitude during the Thanksgiving period. Good has been serving since 2021 after replacing Denver Riggleman. He was born in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, and currently resides in Lynchburg.

On November 26, 2024, Congressman Good congratulated two University of Virginia athletes for their recent achievement: "Congratulations to University of Virginia's Elaine Chervinsky and Melodie Collard for winning the 2024-25 NCAA Women’s Tennis Doubles Championship!"

The following day, November 27, 2024, he remarked on the significance of Thanksgiving as an American tradition with a brief statement: "Thanksgiving is a truly American holiday."

On November 28, 2024, Congressman Good expressed personal sentiments about Thanksgiving: "My family and I are filled with gratitude for God’s blessings , faithfulness, and provision. Today, may we all recognize that He is the source of all that we have to be thankful for, including our families, friends, and freedom. Happy Thanksgiving!"
