For the first time in program history Liberty men’s basketball welcomed an SEC opponent to town, as the Missouri Tigers entered Liberty Arena full of 4,005 fans, Liberty’s second straight sellout. From start-to-finish Liberty controlled the game, defeating Mizzou, 66-45, for the Flames’ 39th straight win at home.
