Men’s Basketball Faces William and Mary in Exhibition
The Randolph men's basketball team had a midweek contest against Division I's William and Mary on Wednesday afternoon. The Tribe were 90-56 victors over the WildCats. The game was an exhibition for Randolph.
Jordan Phillips-McLoyd (Johnson City, Tenn./Science Hill) led all scorers with 16 points on 6-of-16 shooting. He also had four rebounds and two assists. Jerry Goodman (Suffolk, Va./Portsmouth Christian School) added 10 points, three assists, and two rebounds. Hunter Verling (Lake Mary, Fla./Lake Mary HS) contributed eight points, three rebounds, and two blocked shots.
Randolph returns to the hardwood in 2023 on January 2 when its hosts Carolina University in non-conference play. Game time from Giles Gymnasium is at 3:00 p.m.
