County of Amherst issued the following announcement on March 2
The Route 29 Business Beautification Committee recently approved three new Route 29 Business MiniGrant Program applications. One successful project is located at 115 Hughes Drive in Madison Heights, which received new siding, along with gutters, and a new sign. The grant provided $1,000.00 toward the project, the owner invested $31,335 dollars toward the improvements
The matching mini-grant program was launched in 2019 to help businesses improve the appearance of their properties. Approved applicants are provided a matching grant of up to $1,000.00. Applications can be found on the county website under the “How Do I” tab here: https://www.countyofamherst.com/tools/.
