Congressman Good Statement on House Resolution to Hold Mark Meadows in Contempt

18

VA U.S. House District 5 issued the following announcement on Dec. 15

Today, Congressman Good (VA-05) issued the following statement on House Resolution 851, the Meadows Contempt Resolution.

“I voted against the House Resolution to hold former White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows in contempt because this is a partisan witch hunt, and it needs to stop,” said Congressman Good.

“As the left continues to push failed policies, the American people are the ones paying the price. It is no surprise that Democrats in Congress want to distract from open borders, record inflation, supply chain issues, higher taxes, job-killing climate change policies, rising crime, and massive spending bills filled with woke social policy. Hopefully, the damage done to the American people, bill by bill, will not become irreversible. And, playing these political games at the expense of someone who honorably served our nation in order to distract the American people from the increasingly unpopular Biden-Pelosi agenda is simply unconscionable.”
