County of Campbell issued the following announcement on Sept. 1
Campbell County Economic Development’s new Start Small Campbell Grant Program welcomes applicants for the first application window. The Start Small Campbell Grant Program is geared toward new businesses to Campbell County employing 200 people or less. The program will award a $5,000 grant to one business each quarter to aid in the start-up of a new business. As part of the application process, businesses must have completed two sessions offered by the Small Business Development Center.
Economic Development Manager, Nina Rezai, says that “Campbell County is serious about being a great place for small businesses. This program is an example of how committed the County is to stimulating growth in the Business Community. Not only do we want new businesses to choose Campbell County, we also want to ensure they have the tools to be successful! The Start Smart programming offered by the Small Business Development Center offers guidance on fundamental steps in starting a new business.”
To apply for the Start Small Campbell Grant Program, businesses must complete an application on Campbell County Economic Development’s website or mail in a printable application to Campbell County Economic Development at P.O. Box 100, Rustburg, VA 24588. The grant is reviewed on a quarterly basis to award four grants throughout the year based on the following submission and review cycle:
