City of Lynchburg issued the following announcement on Aug. 4
Beginning Monday August 9 and continuing through approximately Friday, August 13, a portion of Mayflower Drive will be closed (at the Odd Fellows Road roundabout toward Candlers Mountain Road) for utility construction. A detour route via Bradley Drive will be in place for motorists, including emergency vehicles.
