City of Lynchburg recently issued the following announcement.
Beginning Monday, June 21 and continuing through Tuesday, August 17, 8:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. daily (including weekends), the 1500 block of 12th Street will be reduced to one lane, and a sidewalk closure will occur in the vicinity of 12th and Pierce Streets to accommodate building repairs in the area.
Motorists should expect minor delays and use caution while traveling through the work zone, be alert to changes in traffic patterns and obey temporary signage. Emergency vehicles will have access at all times.
