Cost of college was unchanged for all students at Virginia University of Lynchburg

Tuition and fees were unchanged for 2018-19 at Virginia University of Lynchburg, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Virginia students paid $9,000 to attend the four-year private not-for-profit institution this year – $800 less than the $9,800 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 100 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 59 students received grants or scholarships totaling $339,591 and 56 students took out student loans totaling more than $313,950.

Including all undergraduates (298), 235 students used grants or scholarships totaling $1.4 million, and 235 students took out $1.5 million in federal student loans.
