Virginia University of Lynchburg enrolls 233 undergrads

At Virginia University of Lynchburg, 67 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 67 percent are male, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in Lynchburg enrolled 298 students in fall 2018, including 233 in undergraduate and 65 in graduate programs, data shows. 6 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

49 percent of undergraduates are residents of Virginia, and 50 percent are residents of other states.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as Black or African American (97 percent) and Hispanic or Latino (1 percent).
