There were 494 Black students enrolled in Appomattox County Public Schools District in the 2023-24 school year, 1.8% less than the previous year, according to the Virginia Department of Education.

Data showed that Appomattox County Public Schools District welcomed 2,372 students during the 2023-24 school year. Among them, Black students comprised 20.8% of the student body to be the second most represented ethnicity in the school.

Appomattox County Public Schools District roughly covers schools within Appomattox County and has a main office in Appomattox.

Among the four schools in Appomattox County Public Schools District, Appomattox County High School recorded the highest enrollment of Black students in the 2023-24 school year.
