There were 2,517 white students enrolled in Amherst County Public Schools District in the 2023-24 school year, 1.8% less than the previous year, according to the Virginia Department of Education.

Data showed that Amherst County Public Schools District welcomed 3,965 students during the 2023-24 school year. Among them, white students comprised 63.5% of the student body to be the most represented ethnicity in the school.
