Stark, O’Neil Named to Academic All-District Women’s Basketball Team

The College Sports Communicators on Tuesday released its 2022-23 Academic All-District Women's Basketball Team which recognizes the nation's top students for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. Randolph was represented by Kylie Stark (Lynchburg, Va./Brookville) and Cameron O'Neil (Gloucester, Va./Gloucester).

Stark started 24 of 25 games for the WildCats this season. She averaged 12.2 points per game to lead the team in scoring. She also was the team leader in steals with 60. Off the court, Stark is a Psychology and Sociology major and has made Dean's List every semester she has been at Randolph. She is a member of Psi Chi Honor Society and will be inducted into the Alpha Kappa Delta Honor Society this year.

O'Neil started all 25 games for the 'Cats. She averaged 7.6 points per game. She made a career-high 52 three-point baskets and is tied for third in the ODAC in that category.
Like Stark, O'Neil is a Sociology and Psychology major and has also been named to the Dean's List. She is the SAAC President and helped organize the Fall Canned Food Drive. O'Neil is a member of Psi Chi, Chi Alpha Sigma, and Alpha Kappa Delta Honor Societies and is a three-time ODAC Academic selection. She is the Omicron Delta Kappa Leadership Honor Society secretary and Psi Chi secretary/treasurer. O'Neil will return for her fifth year as she pursues her Masters in Coaching and Leadership.

Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced in mid-March
