Temporary Lane Closure on Portion of Kemper Street (Beginning Feb. 9)
Beginning Thursday, February 9 and continuing for approximately three months, the outside southbound lane on Kemper Street (between the Kemper Street exit at the Lynchburg Expressway and Campbell Avenue) will be closed in order to accommodate construction in the area which will include a new sidewalk, guardrail and retaining wall.
Motorists should expect minor delays and use caution while traveling through the work zone, be alert to the changes in traffic patterns and obey temporary signage. Emergency vehicles will have access at all times.
