Liberty High School recently issued the following announcement.
The Liberty Homecoming Dance is sold out as we have reached the venue’s capacity. Students will NOT be able to purchase tickets at the door.
The Homecoming Dance will be held on this Saturday, October 16th from 7pm to 10pm at the State Farm (Cardinals) Stadium. Students must have their ticket and student ID to enter the dance. Part of the security procedures for the Cardinals Stadium, students will be required to pass through metal detectors upon entrance into the facility. No metallic devices other than a phone or car key will be permitted. Only small clutch purses will be allowed at entry. Any violation of Liberty rules will result in immediate consequences, which could include removal from the dance and/or suspension from school. Students will be asked to park at the North Preferred parking and enter at the #2. Please reminder your students the dance is semi-formal (click below to see the code of conduct for more details).
College Fair
Peoria Unified School District will be holding its Inaugural Peoria Unified College Fair on October 19th from 6pm to 8pm at Centennial High. Click the link below for more information.
Career Development and Opportunity Night
On October 25th, the Peoria Unified School District will be hosting a Career Development and Opportunity Night at Cactus High School from 6 pm to 8pm. This event is perfect for 7th-10th grade students and their families to learn about all of the career exploration and development programs Peoria Unified has to offer. West -MEC
Western Maricopa Education Center (West-MEC) is a public school district dedicated to providing innovative career and technical education (CTE) programs that prepare students to enter the work force and pursue continuing education. There are over 30 programs to choose from. Go check it out at https://west-mec.edu/ . You can learn about each program, open house dates, and request a virtual tour.
