Delegate Wendell Walker, a Republican representing Virginia’s 52nd House district, recently used his social media platform to highlight local and national events involving education and faith. On May 16, 2026, Walker acknowledged the achievements of Liberty University’s graduating class by posting: “Congratulations to the @LibertyU Class of 2026! We were proud to celebrate more than 34,000 graduates right here in Lynchburg as they begin the next chapter of their lives. Liberty continues to make a tremendous impact on our community, Commonwealth, and country. God bless the https://t.co/xDRtSG2QZF”.

Later that same day, he extended his congratulations to all college graduates in his district with another post: “Congratulations to the Class of 2026! To all the college graduates across HD52, we are proud of your hard work, perseverance, and achievement. As you take this exciting next step, we hope you’ll continue to call Central Virginia home. Your future is bright! https://t.co/mqQqVTEWeU”.

On May 17, Walker shifted focus to a religious event taking place in Washington D.C., stating: “Proud to see my pastor, @jonathanfalwell, speaking today at Rededicate 250 on the National Mall as Americans gather in prayer, worship, and praise. What a powerful reminder that faith still matters and that our best days are ahead when we seek God’s guidance. Tune in below.”

Walker was elected in 2024 to represent Virginia’s 52nd House district after succeeding Luke Torian.
