Tree Pruning/Removal Activities at Breezewood Drive Exit & on Portion of Wiggington Road (Feb. 6-16)

BREEZEWOOD DRIVE EXITOn Monday, February 6, 7:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m., weather permitting, the Lynchburg Expressway exit for Breezewood Drive will be closed to all traffic in order to accommodate tree pruning activities in the area. Motorists, including emergency vehicles, can access Breezewood Drive from Route 221/Lakeside Drive. The Lynchburg Expressway entrance to Breezewood Drive will remain open.

WIGGINGTON ROADBeginning Tuesday, February 7 and continuing through Thursday, February 16, daily (excluding the weekend) and weather permitting, intermittent lane closures will occur on a portion of Wiggington Road (between the Lynchburg Expressway and Hawkins Mill Road) in order to accommodate tree pruning and tree removal activities in the area. 

Motorists should expect minor delays and use caution while traveling through the work zone, be alert to the changes in traffic patterns and obey temporary signage.
