The Amherst County Board of Supervisors has designated Jeremy Bryant as Interim County Administrator. The decision was made during the Board's October 4, 2022 meeting and announced after a closed session. The previous County Administrator, Dean Rodgers, tendered his resignation after the September 20, 2022, meeting. His last day with Amherst County was September 30, 2022.
Mr. Bryant has been with Amherst County since 2006. He will add the duties of Interim County Administer to his current Director of Community Development role. He will serve as interim until the Board of Supervisors fills the County Administrator position.
