Women’s Tennis Falls to #21 W&L

The Randolph women's tennis team hosted Washington and Lee in the ODAC opener for the WildCats on Wednesday afternoon. The Generals won 9-0.

W&L claimed two of three doubles matches with 8-0 scores. Harper Whetzel (Grottoes, Va./Harrisonburg) and Gianna Cabrera (Portsmouth, Va.) took one game against Grace Lorenz and Kaitlyn Chalker at second doubles.

Valentina Santos (Valencia, Venezuela) won a game in the first set against Lauren Long at first singles. Jenna Fink (Madison Heights, Va./Amherst) took a game in fourth singles. Cabrera claimed a game at fifth singles.

Randolph will conclude its fall season on Sunday as it competes in the Pfeiffer Invitational.
