The U.S Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced their All-Region Teams. Randolph's Meghan Chaffins (Temperanceville, Va./Holly Grove Christian) was named to the South All-Region Team in the Triple Jump.
This is Chaffins' second All-Region recognition for the Triple Jump after being acknowledged last year. This is the sixth time a WildCat in the Track and Field program has been recognized as an All-Region athlete.
The top five individuals in each event from each region earn All-Region honors, in addition to each of the members of a top three ranked relay team. Chaffins' mark of 11.07 meters set at the Dennis Craddock Coaches Classic in April is fourth in the South Region.
