Men's tennis drops final match at Spring Tennis Fest

University of Lynchburg men's tennis lost 9-0 to Greenville University Thursday morning. 

Levi Vigdorchik and Carter McCleary teamed up for the fifth time at the first-doubles flight but lost 5-8. Cooper Brewen and Christian Kumar lost 3-8 at the second flight, and Jackson Scott and Nico Thomas lost at No. 3.

In singles play, Vigdorchik took his No. 1 singles opponent to a third set but lost in a tiebreak. Christian Kumar also played a tightly contested match but lost at No. 4. 

Brewen lost at the third flight despite winning seven games. McCleary lost at No. 2, Thomas lost at No. 5, and Scott lost at the sixth flight. 

The Hornets (2-5, 1-2 ODAC) round out their March schedule at Mary Baldwin at 2 p.m. on Friday, Mar. 25.
