Randolph College Athletic Department issued the following announcement on March 2
With the 2022 ODAC Indoor Track and Field Championships now complete, the conference recognizes its All-Conference selections. Randolph graduate student Meghan Chaffins (Temperanceville, Va./Holly Grove Christian) has been named to the Second Team in the High Jump.
This is Chaffins first All-Conference accolade for the Indoor Season. It is the second indoor All-Conference selection for the WildCats and the first since 2016.
Chaffins had the highest place in the history of the WildCats Indoor program as she came in second in the High Jump with a measure of 1.54 meters. She was just .03 meters from the winner and just missed out on taking first place on a jump off tiebreaker.
Currently, her 1.54 meters is 12th in the South Region. She is just .01 meters from a top-10 mark.
