Town of Altavista issued the following announcement on Oct. 13
At the October Regular Session meeting on Tuesday, October 12, the Altavista Town Council presented a proclamation to Johelen Martin in recognition of her service on the Altavista Board of Zoning Appeals (BZA). Mrs. Martin was appointed to serve on the BZA in September 1996 and elected not to seek reappointment when her term expired on August 31, 2021. The Town of Altavista is appreciative of Mrs. Martin's service to the Town's planning program!
