County of Amherst recently issued the following announcement.
The Amherst County Agriculture Committee is pleased to announce that the Amherst County Fair will return in 2021! The fair will take place the third weekend in October. The Committee is still working to determine how many days the fair will run. Further information, including volunteer and vendor information will be shared as it becomes available. The Amherst County Fair was reinstated in 2018. However, in 2020 the fair was canceled due to state Covid-19 restrictions.
