Arizona resident Anthony Kintz was caught off guard by the changing numbers on election night.

“I've never seen that before and I knew something wasn’t right,” Kintz told the Lynchburg Reporter. “My expectations for what was going to happen were completely blown away.”

The Arizona resident was so frustrated that he launched a Change.org petition that has been circulating on social media. At last count, the petition had garnered 2.4 million signatures.

“The understanding is that 100,000 signatures are needed within 30 days for a review by the Supreme Court and we got 100,000 signatures in the first 48 hours,” said Kintz, who lives about an hour away from Maricopa County, in the suburb of Queen Creek.

Kintz’s goal is a recount or revote of the entire 2020 presidential election. That’s because the married father of two is fearful that the election lacks integrity.

A nationwide revote has never happened in U.S. history.

Arizona, North Carolina and Georgia are among the states that have not yet been called as counting is still under way.

“Our aim is to have the entire election recounted or re-voted with better over-watch of how votes are received and counted,” the petition’s home page states. “The voters of the United States of America are tired of the misrepresentation that the media gives to the election.”

According to the Associated Press, Joe Biden leads Arizona with 49.4% of votes compared to 49% for President Trump. In Virginia, Biden earned 54.2% of votes compared to Trump’s 44.3%.

“The big thing that I want to be known about this petition is that I wholeheartedly support Trump,” Kintz said. “However, if everything is fair and accurate and everything's proven to be legitimate and Biden is the winner, I support that. I just want to know, as an American, that our voting system is accurate and is not being tampered with. It just feels like from what you're seeing out of some of the other states that there was a lot of trickery going on.”

Traditional media outlets have debunked allegations of systemic voter fraud.

For example, NBC News reports a smooth election in both blue and red states. However, the sheer number of people who electronically signed Kintz’s Change.org petition indicates the public is losing faith in the election process, according to Tim Griffin, an attorney who works with Liberty University Law School professor Phillip Kline’s Amistad Project, which advocates for free and fair elections.

“What we saw in 2012 was Republican disappointment that Mitt Romney lost to Barack Obama but they didn't lose faith in the electoral system, and that's what's at stake right now,” Griffin told the Lynchburg Reporter. “The issue is a lot bigger than just this side lost the election. It’s not whether Biden will be better than Trump. What’s being questioned is whether our system has integrity right now.”

For example, more than seven days after Election Day, Kintz alleges his own vote has been lost in the shuffle.

“I voted with a supplemental ballot because I hadn't changed my address so when I go on the state website to check it, the system says my ballot still hasn't been counted yet,” he said. “There's something there that doesn't seem correct.”

It’s not surprising to U.S. Rep. Andy Biggs (R-Ariz.) who told Newsmax TV that about 60,000 votes are left to count in the suburbs of the Phoenix metro area. NBC puts the number at 51,000 uncounted votes statewide.
