Bob Good, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Virginia’s 5th district since 2021, has recently posted several statements on social media addressing federal spending priorities, health care subsidies, and climate change.

On September 7, 2025, Good wrote: “The Founders’ intent in giving the power to Congress to tax us was for the “common defense” and “GENERAL welfare”, meaning to the benefit of the entire country. Local community projects (earmarks) do NOT qualify…Republicans!”

Two days later, on September 9, 2025, he stated: “No extension of the Obamacare subsidies by the Republican Congress!!! At some point the debt and deficit has to matter!!!”

Also on September 9, Good questioned prevailing views on climate change. He posted: ” Is climate change really the existential threat they claim? I say no.

On this episode of Good for America, I break down the climate hoax and make the case for fossil fuels, human flourishing, and energy security.
