The Liberty Flames men’s tennis team received five honors in the 2026 Conference USA Men’s Tennis Postseason awards, according to an April 28 announcement from the conference.

These recognitions highlight individual and team performances during the season. Liberty’s top doubles pair, Benjamin Sparks and David Ekpenyong, were named to the All-Conference Doubles first team. The second doubles pair of Rodrigo Santiago Arraez and Guy Vorwerk earned a spot on the All-Conference Doubles second team.

In singles competition, three players—Arraez, Chase Robinson, and Sparks—were selected for the CUSA All-Conference Singles second team. Robinson is noted as the only Liberty player to receive an All-Conference selection for a second time; he was previously chosen for the same honor in 2024.

Ekpenyong and Sparks finished their season with a combined record of 12 wins and six losses as a duo, including two victories during the CUSA Championship. Their efforts included a close win against Middle Tennessee State University that secured a key point in the championship final. The pairing was also recognized as CUSA Doubles Pair of the Week on April 8.

Robinson led Liberty with a singles record of 14 wins and six losses this year, excelling particularly at No. 6 singles with ten victories out of twelve matches. Arraez completed his junior season with eleven singles wins while transitioning between No.1 and No.3 positions; he was named CUSA Athlete of the Week on February 11 after defeating Auburn’s Billy Blaydes.

Sparks ended his redshirt freshman campaign with eleven singles victories while contributing significantly at both No.2 singles and as part of doubles teams throughout the season.

The Flames closed their year holding a final record of fourteen wins against ten losses along with finishing runner-up in this year’s Conference USA Championship.
