Delegate Wendell Walker, a Republican representing Virginia’s 52nd House district, shared several updates on his social media account ahead of the legislative session in Richmond. Walker was elected to the Virginia State House in 2024, succeeding Luke Torian.
On January 7, 2026, Walker posted about spending time outdoors before returning to official duties: “Enjoyed some time at the Izaak Walton League today before the legislative session kicks off next week in Richmond. Ready to get back to work for HD52! https://t.co/w1ei84T4cG”.
Two days later, on January 9, 2026, he encouraged constituents and followers to stay connected with fellow members of the Virginia House GOP on X: “As we return to Richmond next week, make sure you’re following our @VAHouseGOP members on X
➢ GOP Leader’s Office — @VaHODGOPLeader
➢ Leader Kilgore — @delterrykilgore
➢ Caucus Chair Wyatt — @votescottwyatt
➢ Whip Webert — @MichaelWebert
➢ Austin — @TerryAustin4HOD

Later that same day, Walker marked Law Enforcement Appreciation Day by acknowledging local law enforcement: “Today on Law Enforcement Appreciation Day, we say thank you to the men and women who put on the badge every day. We’re blessed to have outstanding law enforcement professionals here in Central Virginia who work every day to keep our communities safe. https://t.co/p8elB6cFO9”.
Walker began serving as delegate for the 52nd district after winning election in 2024. He replaced former representative Luke Torian.
