Delegate Wendell Walker, who represents Virginia’s 52nd House District, recently used his social media platform to highlight local educational events and his legislative record.
On August 19, 2025, Walker posted about the start of the school year in Lynchburg City Schools. He wrote, “Up bright and early this morning to welcome back and cheer on students in @LCSEDU for their first day! Wishing everyone a great year ahead. https://t.co/u4NyGBb9ev”.
Later that same day, Walker addressed his legislative accomplishments and contrasted them with those of his opponent. In a post made at 22:41 UTC, he stated, “Talk is cheap. Results aren’t.
As your Delegate, I’ve passed meaningful legislation, stood up for our values, and have delivered real results for #HD52.
Compare my proven record to my opponent’s radical wish list in the @CardinalNewsVA

On August 20, 2025, Walker congratulated Rivermont Schools on opening a new location in Lynchburg. He shared: ” Congratulations to Rivermont Schools on your new location in Lynchburg! It was great to celebrate alongside so many who appreciate their mission of empowering children and young adults facing behavioral, emotional, and educational challenges. https://t.co/c05KnWYqYu”.
Walker has served as Delegate since January 2020 after being elected to represent parts of Lynchburg and Amherst County in Virginia’s House of Delegates.
