On September 12, 2025, Walker expressed appreciation for civic engagement at a local forum, stating, “I was glad to join my fellow Republican candidates last night at the Lynchburg Voters League & NAACP #7088 Candidate Forum. Thank you to everyone who came out to discuss the issues that matter most and hear how we’re delivering real results for Lynchburg!”

After a devastating fire last year, they have risen from the ashes and shown true resilience. “
