Delegate Wendell Walker, a member of the Virginia House of Delegates, has recently used his social media platform to comment on political events and policy issues. In a series of posts between August 18 and August 19, 2025, Walker addressed topics ranging from party politics to national negotiations and sports policies.
On August 18, Walker shared details about a recent event: “A great night at the beautiful Bella Vista Hotel with Attorney General @JasonMiyaresVA and a packed room of friends and supporters. We’re fired up for November and ready to restore a Republican majority in the House of Delegates! https://t.co/Rk6mUfLWWS”.
The following morning, Walker commented on presidential negotiation strategies in an interview cited by ABC13 News. He stated: ‘”That’s the bottom line with the president: stop the killing, negotiate a deal,” Walker said. “The president said the other day, ‘there’s no deal until there’s a deal.’ I believe the president knows how to make the right deal.”‘
Later that day, Walker posted his views on gender participation in sports: “Let’s stop pretending this is complicated: girls’ sports should only be for girls. That’s just common sense.

Walker has represented Virginia’s 23rd District since 2020 and is affiliated with the Republican Party. The House of Delegates is set for elections in November 2025, which will determine party control moving forward.
