On July 14, 2025, Congressman McGuire emphasized the importance of equipping U.S. military personnel with advanced tools, stating that “America’s warfighters deserve the best tools to win. In #FY26NDAA, @HASCRepublicans are securing our maritime military capability for the future of warfighting & providing Peace through Strength.”

The following day, July 15, 2025, he addressed ongoing legislative actions by the House Armed Services Committee Republicans: “Today, @HASCRepublicans are marking up the FY26NDAA to keep America secure and defend from foreign adversaries such as Russia, North Korea, and the CCP. The American era of Peace Through Strength begins NOW.”

Later on July 15, Congressman McGuire discussed his participation at a media event with various news outlets. He commented on recent tax legislation: “Today, at the @HouseGOP media row, I spoke with news outlets in VA-05 & across the country about how the One Big Beautiful Bill (now law) prevents the largest tax hike in American history & delivers on the promises made to the American people.”
