Congressman John McGuire, a U.S. Representative, used his social media platform in mid-September 2025 to invite constituents to an upcoming event and share tributes honoring Charlie Kirk.
On September 15, 2025, McGuire invited the public to participate in a virtual meeting, stating: “Please join me for my third Telephone Town Hall tomorrow at 5:30 PM! https://t.co/M5wGpbTctq”.
Later that evening, on September 16, he posted a tribute highlighting the values displayed outside his Congressional office and their connection to Charlie Kirk. He wrote: “Faith, family, freedom, we proudly display this image outside our Congressional office to remind everyone of Charlie Kirk’s unwavering commitment to free speech, his love for people, and his devotion to our Savior, Jesus Christ, ensuring his legacy endures. @TPUSA https://t.co/mlxD0DavtA”.
In a subsequent post on September 16, McGuire reflected on an event held in Statuary Hall. He stated: “Last night, I joined my colleagues in Statuary Hall to honor the life of Charlie Kirk. A devoted husband, father, & follower of our Savior, Jesus Christ. We will ensure his legacy lives on. https://t.co/HBKVn6cUTf”.
Charlie Kirk was known as the founder and president of Turning Point USA (TPUSA), an organization that advocates for conservative values among students across the United States.
These posts by Congressman McGuire reflect both ongoing outreach efforts with constituents through town halls and recognition of individuals influential within conservative circles.
