Bob Good, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Virginia’s 5th district since 2021, has recently expressed his views on various political issues through a series of tweets. These posts reflect his stance on national financial management and spending practices within the government.

On May 5, 2025, Bob Good tweeted about the concerns he has encountered during his tenure in Congress. He mentioned that his constituents often urged him to “please save Hollywood!” “During my 4 yrs in Congress, my constituents were always begging me to ‘please save Hollywood!'”

In another tweet dated May 6, 2025, Bob Good criticized the House of Representatives for its handling of the nation’s finances. He emphasized that managing finances is their primary responsibility and described their performance as a failure. “The #1 responsibility of the House is managing the nation’s finances. Massive FAIL.”

Later on May 6, Bob Good commented on Republican spending strategies ahead of future elections. He suggested that Republicans are focused on continued spending in hopes of securing electoral victories in 2026 and maintaining their spending habits thereafter. “Republicans want to keep spending $$, because they think it will help them win in 26…so that they can then keep spending $$.”

Bob Good was born in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania in 1965 and currently resides in Lynchburg. Before serving in Congress, he was part of the Campbell County Board of Supervisors from 2016 to 2019.
