Bob Good, U.S. Congressman representing Virginia’s 5th district since 2021, recently posted a series of tweets addressing the release of the Epstein files and emphasizing the importance of transparency.

On September 3, 2025, Good questioned the rationale behind opposition to releasing the documents: “How can anyone defend being against the full release of the Epstein files?” The following day, he reinforced his stance on the matter by stating, “It is about truth and justice. It is not about whose names are in the files.”

Prior to these statements, on September 2, 2025, Good also shared a link on his social media account: https://t.co/Js0R5K3cle.

Bob Good has represented Virginia’s 5th congressional district since replacing Denver Riggleman in 2021. Before his tenure in Congress, he served on the Campbell County Board of Supervisors from 2016 to 2019. Born in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania in 1965, Good currently resides in Lynchburg.

The debate over releasing documents related to Jeffrey Epstein has been ongoing for several years. Calls for greater transparency have come from various lawmakers and advocacy groups seeking accountability and public access to information regarding high-profile investigations.
