Bob Good, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Virginia’s 5th district since 2021, posted several statements on his social media account on October 7, 2025.

Later that morning, at 12:34 p.m. UTC, he wrote, “Government should not be in the insurance business”.

In the afternoon at 2:52 p.m. UTC, Good marked the anniversary of an international event with the statement, “On this 2-year anniversary of the horrific Oct 7 terrorist attack, we remember and stand with the nation of Israel.”

Good has served in Congress since replacing Denver Riggleman in 2021 and previously held office on the Campbell County Board of Supervisors from 2016 to 2019. He was born in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania in 1965 and currently resides in Lynchburg.
