Bob Good, U.S. Congressman representing Virginia’s 5th district since 2021, has recently used his social media platform to address concerns about government spending and to endorse a fellow lawmaker. In a series of posts made between May 14 and May 17, 2026, Good highlighted issues of alleged government fraud and voiced support for Representative Thomas Massie.

On May 14, Good posted: “$200 Billion Wasted: Government Fraud Exposed https://t.co/CqUSIS7Liq”. The following day, he encouraged voters to support Thomas Massie in Kentucky’s elections by stating: “Vote for principled conservatism. Vote for political courage. Vote for country & Constitution over party & personality. Vote for Thomas Massie! @MassieforKY” on May 15. Continuing his endorsement, Good wrote on May 17: “Massie has got to win”.

Good’s public advocacy comes as part of his ongoing tenure in Congress representing Virginia’s 5th District—a position he has held since replacing Denver Riggleman in 2021. Before joining Congress, Good served on the Campbell County Board of Supervisors from 2016 to 2019.

Born in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania in 1965 and currently residing in Lynchburg at age 57, Bob Good is one of two current congressional representatives from Virginia mentioned here; Bobby Scott represents the state’s 3rd district but was not referenced in these recent posts.
