Bob Good, U.S. Congressman representing Virginia’s 5th district since 2021, highlighted concerns about national political issues and partisan redistricting in a series of posts on August 19, 2025.
In his first post, Good referenced an interview with fellow Congressman Tim Burchett, stating on August 19, 2025: “Washington is broken—and Rep. Tim Burchett (TN-02) isn’t afraid to say it. From reckless spending to border chaos, he calls out the failures and shares what real leadership looks like. Don’t miss this bold conversation on Good for America: https://t.co/uqEBXsUSET”. Minutes later, he tagged Burchett in a follow-up post: “@timburchett @RepTimBurchett”.
Later that day, Good addressed party politics regarding election districts, writing on August 19, 2025: “Republicans are finally trying to catch up with Democrats nationally on partisan redistricting.”
Good has represented Virginia’s 5th congressional district since replacing Denver Riggleman in 2021 and previously served on the Campbell County Board of Supervisors from 2016 to 2019. Born in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania in 1965, Good currently resides in Lynchburg.
