Bob Good, U.S. Congressman representing Virginia’s 5th district since 2021, commented on the ongoing government shutdown and the approaching Virginia elections in a series of social media posts.

Bob Good succeeded Denver Riggleman as representative of Virginia’s 5th district and has served in Congress since 2021 after previously working on the Campbell County Board of Supervisors from 2016 to 2019. He was born in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania in 1965 and resides in Lynchburg.
Virginia’s congressional delegation also includes Bobby Scott, who represents the state’s 3rd district and has been serving since 1993 after holding positions in both the Virginia House of Delegates and Senate.
