Bob Good, a U.S. Congressman representing Virginia’s 5th district since 2021, has been vocal on various issues through his social media presence. His recent tweets address concerns about fiscal policy and immigration.

On June 5, 2025, Bob Good expressed his views regarding congressional Republicans’ stance on spending cuts. He remarked that some Republicans “who NEVER want to cut ANY spending” were not pleased with Elon Musk’s presence in Washington discussing potential spending reductions. The full tweet can be accessed here.

In another tweet from the same day, Good criticized the current fiscal policies related to the federal deficit. He pointed out that regardless of whether the Congressional Budget Office’s projections are accurate by a trillion dollars over ten years, the real issue is that “the Big Ugly Bill doesn’t address the $2 trillion deficit EVERY YEAR.” The original post is available here.

Additionally, Bob Good promoted an episode of his podcast titled “Good For America,” which discusses topics such as what he describes as Biden’s border invasion and America’s immigration history. This episode was highlighted in a tweet posted later on June 5, 2025. The link to this tweet can be found here.

Bob Good has served in Congress since replacing Denver Riggleman in 2021 and previously held a position on the Campbell County Board of Supervisors from 2016 to 2019.
