The Liberty Flames swept New Mexico State with a decisive win on May 3 in Las Cruces. Key performances included Kyle Hvidsten’s home run and Nick Barone’s four-hit game as Liberty continued its strong Conference USA campaign.
These former Lynchburg Metro area high school standouts will be competing during the week of Monday, May 4.
Liberty University’s women’s tennis team ended its season after a loss to Washington in NCAA tournament play. Despite defeat, Liberty celebrated its first Conference USA title and returns all players next year.
